Hi Seniors,

Well I am a newbie and very much caught in something confusing:. I have been going through Traderji for quiete some time (& let me say that the one thing that I like most is the positive attitude of all the seniors towards the juniors), I wish I have enough luck to get an answer to my queries (don't hope for the promptness, but its always nice to have a prompt ans...). I have got some shares & honestly at this point of time, I don't know what to do with them ? coz I am all in -ives ...........please advise, which one i should hold & which one should I sell...

1. CIPLA: 100 shares @ 387
2. DABUR : 200 shares @ 176.78
3. Gateway : 100 shares @ 277
4. Reliance Capital : 200 shares @ 360
5. UTI Bank : 300 shares @ 249…

Please…please..please…bring my anxiety to an end, with your answer…

Thanks

Sahil

Hi Sahil...was about to go get a shut eye and saw this post.
No need to be so stressed as fundamentally all you scrips are strong, even if bought high. And the moral of the story is don't chase a running stock ever. If the entry is not right, the best of the best will let you down and trap you.
Cipla closed well today and if the market holds a bit longer there is every reason to believe you may see your entry soon. Fundamentally it's on strong grounds and delivered amongst the best results in the pharma pack. Should the market slip, your wait may be longer but it'll get there.
You may have got in on Gateway on the slide early yesterday where it had a huge gap-up opening. Hang in for now, though the big spurt may have passed already. It's high into the overbought zone for now and may correct a bit from here. 245-253 is support zone for now. Here again you are on a sound footing fundamentally and will get your price sooner than later. It's a crowd favourite too.
Dabur is the same story fundamentally...meaning great. Has still not quite recovered from the beating recently but will get there though your entry is way high into the resistance zone. No harm, hang in.
Reliance Capital you are already in the plus. Trail stop for now as it gains up and a close above 370 will get it higher.
UTI Bank I cannot recall the fundamental picture on, but technically a close above 244 should get it closer to your entry. It has survived the danger mark at 234 today's low and closed higher. Watch 234 as below this it could get weaker.
You are lucky Sahil that despite your reckless entries you are holding some very good counters, unlike a lot of people around.
Count your blessings and learn your lessons.
Good luck, and do keep updated over the next couple of days.
Regards.

DEAR AMITB,

Thank you very much for the reply. I Indeed was reckless, but your reply has brought the much needed solace to me. Will follow all of your advises and will hold on tight.....but.......... may I ask, how long will I have to stay in this position? Just a tentative idea.....

Thanks again....

Hello Hari..it's a hold for now with s/l at 53. You may likely see better action at a close above 62.
Regards.

Sorry Sahil...Cannot say how long the wait could be...none whatsoever. It may happen tomorrow or a week later or longer. That's just the way the market is. If you had taken the trends early it would have been different but they are mostly stale for now and may consolidate or even correct before a fresh upside.
Be careful with UTI below 234 though.

Arvind Mills I wouldn't wish upon my enemy, it's so treacherous. Some day, some ol' day, it will be Arvind's but till that day arrives, let's be off it.
First it should close above 119. Then 123, and then 129. Then 134 and then 140 and 143. How and when it does this is beyond me.
I'm sure there are better buys than this and I'd encourage you to look elsewhere.
Take care.
thanx a lot any good buy for 3/4 months horizons
