Hi Amit

On the subject of Amibroker, what are your data sources? Do you use realtime feeds from any provider or does it come with a data feed?

Your input will be very useful.

Many thanks

Best regards
Kishore

Hi Kishore..there may be any number of data feeds and mostly paid. Yahoo I believe does it for free...I have not tried it. I use this for charting and EOD is fine for me, and I pay for this..Viratech for Rs 7000 annual. You could get this for free from one of the Yahoo groups. Try this one:
http://in.groups.yahoo.com/group/bse-nse2005/
Sign on and download historical data and then the daily eod files. At the files link you'll also find a guide to configuring Amibroker to use Metastock data as the historical file is in that format I think. The same guide will also tell you how to update daily eod from .csv files as all the daily files are in this format.
For live feed you'll have to install Amiquote and use it within Amibroker.
Hope this helps.

Vishal Exp has been a champion under performer for all the buzz here. The downside may not be a lot from here, but to the up, you may want to consider pulling out at entry and place the money elsewhere.
Hotline Glass has work to do still and will look better above 13. Can't remember where you entered.
Do give the entry for reference each time.

hello Amit

How are you boss? Yes I entered at high rates. The current position are as follows

Hotline Glass 500195 CMP 11.13 Holding 3000 @ 13.53
Vishal Exports 532618 CMP 6.74 Holding 5000 @ 7.10
Facor Alloys 532656 CMP 6.28 Holding 4300 @ 10.40
Facor Steel 532567 CMP 6.79 holding 2500 @ 10.60

I also believe that both facor alloys and steel is bottoming out, but the price has gone down more than I expected.

Thanks and awaiting your comments.

With best regards

Suja

Hi game4trade,

I think KS Oils is a highly manipulated stock (i have traded a couple of times successfully on it). Using Metastock would be ideal on it - using a volume sensitive indicator. Be careful - the downswings tend to be sharp and fast so worth being cautious on it and only buying at the immediate start of an upswing

Hi Shorttermer,

Thanx for your comments. It does seems to be a manipulated stock.

Ashish

Hi rinv...no info other than it's dropping along with the market. As long as it stays above 92 it's ok. Should have stopped out at 100 though.
Hold for now...the results are decent and this has a long way to go. More of an investment in the mid to long term kind of share and great for intraday too for the liquidity. Quite slow on the move in a short term trade.
Regards.

Hi Raju, foxes me too...has taken a very harsh beating...very. On fundamentals it's probably the best player in the sector for the business model and customer base. Except for the slightly diluted equity there's nothing wrong here. Unfortunately being closely associated with the steel industry it's taking it badly along with the rest in that sector.
103 was a most crucial point and hope that is regained soon. Next support is good at 94.
Good luck.
