Hi Geeta,
That's not a very positive way of describing the trade you are in. You've written 'gambled' which would ordinarily mean you have taken a chance on some probability numbers? Or you may have used the term in jest...
It would make my input to the point if you give the entry levels for both. Else it would be too general and may not address your concern.
Thanks.

Hi Narendra, you are not the only one trapped high in ITC. I'm sure there are hundreds of thousands of investors in the same boat, who had jumped in after the stock split.
There is still margin here to consider it as being in an uptrend despite the correction which began, I believe before the market changed direction.
If it manages to close above 125 to sustain it, it would be a positive sign of a recovery. The gains it made on Friday may also have been a relief or reflex rally along with the market. The fact is, after correcting from a high of 143 to 116, it would be natural for it to consolidate before picking up steam again, and if it does this above 125, so much the better. Unless it sustains 125 for a few sessions, it's likely to slip again. The results are expected soon, and should the market be pleased with them, there's nothing to fear.
Let's watch it for now.
Regards.

Hi raju_shastry and Atul...your lists are long and I'll need some time. Will have them in by tomorrow morning.
raju_shastry, you have picked some good counters and they should do very well in your time horizon. The levels etc I'll post later.
Thanks.

Give it a shot if you like, and it's not too expensive at all.
Cheers.
Thank you Amit. Will let you know how i get on.

Warm regards

However Petronet should be a good buy in the mid to long term unless you are buying in volume for a trend trade.
For levels, should it slip from 56 off, 52-54 form a good support. Further below, 48 would be the critical support. Should it slip to these levels and bounces off, coming in on the up would be a decent entry. Under all conditions 48 would be stopped out.
Wait and see what happens and don't rush in. The outlook remains bearish for now despite the relief rally of Friday. Monday may give a clue to the direction in the short term.
About Bata, from the 10th on to now it has held out quite remarkably against the down market. In this period 135 has been a strong support. I am going by this sign alone, as in the charts there is no clear signal of a move to the up. If it does move on to close above 146-148, it should begin to look better. I'm tracking it.
Take care.
Hi Roneeth...Bata is shaping up nicely for now though coming off the high...having difficulty with 150. If it closes above 148-150 we are well set.
Petronet is looking good too, but I would hesitate going long just yet. It'll want to follow the market down when that happens. 54 is good support yes, but can't say if it'll hold in a move down.
Keep watching for now.
Regards.
