Hey Karthik...just taking your good explanation forward.
And as to you getting there soon, you're there already...and any further 'there', godspeed.
Cheers.

Hi Amit

I need a quick advice.. Though I think it is already late. There is one certain JMA Industries in BSE which are owned by some German Group Hella. For which I hold 200 shares @ CMP 75.50. The thing is that I have not still given for demat. I came to know that the particular company is holding a meeting on 22 nd of this month (Sep) to delist the scrip. Can you suggest what this will imply.. and if it is worse for me.. What I can do to take Maximum Benefit..

Otherwise all well

Thanks

Nishant

Hi Nishant...sorry..don't know how this would work. You may want to contact your brokerage company at once and check with them. There'll be many like you who are holding the stocks, whether demated or not.
Look up the website of the company, get a contact number/address and check things out.
You could also post a new thread here...someone may know.
Regards.

Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd has has issued Bonus Equity Shares in the proportion of one equity share of Rs.10 each for every two equity shares of Rs.10 each. So you will get additional 75 shares. Record date for the purpose of bonus issue will be September 17. Your shares will be credited to your icici account only after this date. There is no need to worry. Normally the price will be adjusted as per the bonus ratio. I have noticed that the prices tend to go down after the issue of bonus/split (... because the pre bonus price goes up in anticipation of the bonus/split..) Normally they bounce back to the pre bonus/split price and tend to go up...(examples Geometric and Hexaware) Little patience is required...Any way rework your S/L and follow the trend...
Hi Alokdaga/Karthik/Amit

I really thank you all for the prompt and clear reply. Currently I'm in US and also very new to the market. Hence, after seeing the price in the morning (Your night) I got shocked. Now your reply to natkarthik helped me to understand the reality.

I'm watching this thread for the past one month (silently...) and found very informative & helpful. Since I'm in US I couldn't get into the scrips on time, so I couldn't book profits sometimes. That's not a matter at all.

But, I don't know whether you all understood the real intensity of the help you are providing it here. If I say it is a great help, then I would say I'm an idiot. Coz no one can quantify it. I'm amazing the way Amit is posting the replies till 1:00 AM. I appreciate you all, on behalf of the silent spectator community of this forum. I also want to take an opportunity to request Amit to continue this. I agree, sometimes, it may be a pain for you. But please remember, by replying, you are unknowingly helping some people like me who really need money for some unavoidable reasons. (I came into market to earn money for my kidney transplantation.) So I'm pretty sure there will be some people who are eagerly waiting for your analysis & replies. Hence please continue the good work.

Thanks again,

Babu.

Thats really true Amit and other senior members. I am one of those silent members dont sleep without reading this thread of late. Apart from getting few tips, this is informative and interesting. We find people from experts to novices like me here. It is a great service dear Amit and other senior members
I have been following all along tips given by Krishnakumar in Business line (On sundays under the heading Focus of the week) and it is 100% successful. I am not sure how many of the members of this forum are using it. If not try it. I have been using for some time.
If members feel this may be of help i can post those tips for the benefit of the members.
Amitje and other senior members let me know if I can post them here
