Hi adec,

ttml is good and expected to move still higher because of a particular pattern failure in it.

HLL is also a gud buy. read the thread.

abt atfl , act on stops. dont hope and dont regret, it's part of the game.
Atfl is on fire , did you check it? todays high is 96????

yeah atfl was around 94 when u had mentioned buy 87 sell 100 and stop 82 so was kinda confused as to what to do .....to buy or not to buy

regarding hll what thread (220/255/207???)
i am also thinking of MLL and FCS and Balaji tele
what do ya think

Forgot to ask
If i want to check some particular list of shares only where can i make my watchlist and can i have only that streaming at the bottom of my screen or maybe if that is not possible then where can i find the site that will give me streaming stock prices at the bottom of my screen on computer

Hi adec,

i dont use expensive softwares, i use free softwares.
So dont have idea abt the paid softwares

I use 5ptrader from IndiaInfoline , so i can do that , but i dont know abt the free sites that will offer this facility.

Other members please help in this regard.

You can do one thing.
Download and install ***** widgets.

And then run the stock ticker widget (which comes in the ***** widgets package).

You need to add your stock symbols (you can search for them on ***** finance website).

The widget displays the quotes continuously.


However, the quotes are delayed by 15 minutes.

winstonn ..saw your calls they were pretty good.
i wanna increase my technical knowledge.i know a little about candlesticks..wanna know more about the technical indicators i.e KD,RSI etc..what do you suggest i should do ?

guys buy sql star cmp around 52...for a target of 80+
some serious news coming in that company on 23rd of this month.they are raising $15million and acquiring a firm overseas. they have their meeting on the 23rd and are gonna announce this to the public SOON

First try yo learn the price related stuff:

1) Support and Resistance

2) Wht is Uptrend , Downtrend , ranging trend.

3) Trendlines

4) Chart Patterns

5) short term and intermediate term swing highs and lows

6) Volume Analysis.

7) Volatile Price Analysis.

Trend Determinig Inicators:
1) DMI system
2)Aroon up /down

Then trend following indicators like
1) MACD
2) EMA

Then Indicators useful in range bound market
1) STochastic
2) RSI

Also read on momentum indicator..

these are all basic things you need to know.

I would add Williams %R also.
Found it to be more responsive.

EDIT: heck, how could I not realise this earlier - %R is the raw data of %K - obviously will be more responsive.

i do know about supports/resistance,trendlines chart patterns etc..where do i learn about dmi,macd, rsi etc...
