Question Stamp Duty & Transaction Charges



Hi,

I am new to trading and so would be putting some silly questions .Try to bear with me and help me .

Is Stamp Duty charged on Traded Value ? (In case of Sharekhan Account)IIs it applicable both ways (Buy/Sell).

Transaction Charges are applicable on Traded Value ?

STT is charged on Buy/Sell ?

Hi Raju,

Transaction charges & Stamp Duty are charged on turnover you trade i.e., both buy side as well as sell side. My broker is charging me Rs. 10/- per 1 lac of turnover.

u have to pay stt on buy as well as on sell also
