Teledata Networks has now launched its BroadAccess-100 New Outdoor Mini IP DSLAM, aimed at easing upgrades to triple play...

Teledata Networks, a provider of innovative Multi-Service Access solutions for NGN (Next Generation Networks), has introduced BroadAccess-100, a Mini IP DSLAM enabling telcos both to deliver high bandwidth services in FTTN (Fibre to the Node) configurations and to seamlessly upgrade to Triple Play services.

BroadAccess-100 is the newest addition to the Teledata Networks' BroadAccess multiservice platform family. It is designed to be used to upgrade narrowband remote access systems as well as deliver broadband from remote outdoor cabinets or MTUs (Multi-Tenant Units). According to Teradata, the system boasts advanced Ethernet functionality, support of DSL Forum TR-101 standard, and dense 1U "pizzabox" structure - all address-specific needs of CLECs and incumbent operators, enabling them to extend novel services to small clusters of subscribers, and facilitating their transition to Triple Play.

The new system is already being used by CLECS in Kazakhstan, Argentina and Bolivia. Moreover, BroadAccess-100 is the first milestone in a new product line, which will include an MSAG with VoIP capabilities in the next release.

* Teledata Networks is a private company, in which the major shareholders are Teledata Informatics Ltd, Elron Electronic Industries, the Kardan Group and Infinity Venture Capital Fund.

teledata has once again posted excellent first quarter results . However people are scared due to its past history and are booking profits at every rise . Probably there is also a consideration that rupee dollar equation is not going to be favourable for IT companies . But despite all this , the performance of Teledata is very reassuring for its future growth prospects . I feel that just before the second quarter results , and in anticipation of it , people will start to purchase teledata , and after the results ,the prices may shoot to more than Rs.125 - Rs.150 , depending on the results .
If a person has a bit of patience , and not give in to temptation to immediately book the profits , I feel that in the long run , Teledata may become a very big company and its prices may cross even Rs,.500 after 3-4 years .

Angry Re: teledata info

Dear All,
Tele Data Info seems to be in a band of 52/- to 72/-. Whatever I read about the company ( on its official website ) was not encouraging and does not give me any confidence. The promoter holding is too LOW. Institutional holding is also Low, No Mutual Fund holds the stock.
No promoter has any experience or degree in software.

Default Re: teledata info

15th november 2007 was the last day for trading .After the demerger , teledata is to be bifurcated into 3 companies , and we are going to get 2 shares of original teledata ( with reduced face value of Rs.2 /- ) and 1-1 share of the other two companies teledata Marine solutions and teledata technical solutions (both face value of Rs.2/- each) . So in effect for Rs.10/- original face value , we will be getting total 4 shares of Rs.2/- FV = Rs.8 /-

However, we should not be dissapointed because all the 3 companies are going to be listed once again .... and I am expecting the combined listing price to be at least Rs.90/- . I feel they should be listed within one month , sometime by middle of December.

Further , there will be a dividend announcement for Teledata ....how much percentage I do not know, but I hope it may be sufficient enough to give the proper que and confidence to the market that will prompt a rerating from the pathetic PE of Rs.2.5 which its shareholders are having to suffer now . Another confidence booster will be the increase in the percentage shareholding of the promoters post demerger .

Dear,

You are mistaken. For every 100 shares of TD you will get 100 shares of TD and 50 shareas each of the other two companies. totla 3 shares not 4 shares.
