Reasons to buy equity shares of Centurion Bank :-

It is emerging as one of the fastest growing retail-focussed banks in India. It has developed fm a midcap in Sep-05 to a large-cap in Feb 06. (If you don't know BSE's definition of midcap, it is between Rs.250 crore and Rs.2500 crore.

With respect....

Can you throw some light on the basic fundas underlying your prediction : specifically , would you have some idea of the Bank's projected EPS for the next few years ? How is its PE multiple relative to peers?

Or are u basing yr prophecy merely on a hunch ?? Or maybe, on some tech chart pattern ?

Eager to know

And Saroj ji... let me add :

I am not using these terms ( EPS, PE etc) just to sound pompous, but should point out that these attributes shape the market price of a scrip more (much more) strongly than rate of revenue (top line) growth.

Read between the lines : bottom line growth is far, far more important (than top line growth).

And not mere bottom line growth in absolute terms , but EPS growth (now surely you know what is the denominator , and what's the numerator in the ratio called EPS)

Think about it

Take it easy, and pl do not trivialise the issue or let it die an unproductive death

Look here, trying to buy /sell stocks (or worse: trying to give tips ... no matter how well intentioned) based on mere Technicals OR Fundamentals is like trying to row a double-oared boat (did I use the correct term ?) with only one oar.

You will just end up going around in circles ...

In the example you gave, you have ignored the Technicals of the scrip completely (let's be honest) and cited only one of the dozens of Fundamental facets (pace of growth) while offering your tip. In short, IMHO thats grossly inadequate justification !

Maybe that's why the tip may not have recd the effusive response you would have expected.

You see my point ?
