Default Usectrade

Hi,

I hold an account in usectrade. I am totally new and want information regarding calculation of brokerage, Service charge and STT amount.

Are these charges same for all shares and in all accounts? Or do they vary depending upon the demat account.

Eg:

Bought 15 shares of XYZ at 660/share
Brokerage = 39.60, Service Tax = 4.7520, STT amount = 12
Nett = 9939.6/-

Sold 15 shares of XYZ at 699/share
Brokerage = 42, Service Tax = 5.04, STT amount = 13
Nett = 10443/-

Please let me know how to calculate these charges.
Thanks in advance

Your brokerage seems to be 0.4% : 15X660=9900X0.4%=39.60
There is a Service tax @ 12% on the brokerage amount: 39.6X12%=4.752
STT on delivery based transactions is : 0.125% on each buy and sell
Your Figure does not match here, it should be morethan Rs.12/-
Further you have mentioned the Nett amounts as Buy rate + brokerage only!!!????
The total figure of the Contract shall be Buy+Brokerage+Service Tax + STT, and transaction charges of the exchange.
PLease recheckand post details again
Best is to contact your broker for all such clarifications. Write to them if they do not reply your verbal query, they are bound to satisfy your enquiry.

Hi,

Thx for the reply. I am not very sure about the percentages because it is not the same for all transactions.

I have attached excerpts 4m my statement in excel format.

Please check and let me know how to calculate brokerage, service tax, STT etc. when buying and selling.

Thanks

I have tried to give my input, check the attachment....would still say and insist this is the job of your broker who is charging you 0.4% as delivery brokerage....
The sheet1 added by me has the details....
