For every 29 shares of CBOP u shall get 1 share of HDFC bank so every major move in HDFC bank shall be translated into CBOP.
for 1050 shares u shall get 36 shares of HDFC.After simple calculation price of a HDFC bank share comes out to be 1411. So now question is 36 HDFC bank shares @ 1411. Today HDFC bank @1514 is trading at 36.6 time its earning. It has just reported37.1 % rise in net profit fot the fy08 q4. The board has recommended 85% dividend against 70% last year. CAR was 13.6 %. Purchase mor CBOP if price falls. |

First keep CBOP stock in multiple of 29 so that no hassles of refund or extra payment shall occur.
Today CBOP is 50.4 and HDFC bank is 1547.80 So if at this price u purchase CBOP u save 85.4 rs. on each share of HDFC. As far as no. of shares is concerned it depends on your fund status and time horizon. |
