Default Something that u should know about RNRL

RNRL being a momentum stock can be easily found in the portfolio of common share holders. Lots of people have lost money in this counter.
So shareholders should know about some salient features about RNRL.
RNRL is a gas based power company. It is supposed to receive gas from RIL at subsidized rate of 2.34 $ per mmbtu under agreement.
Govt. is opposing this as it shall cause govt. a whopping loss of 25000 crore and wants to enter as a party in the litigation between RNRL and RIL.
RNRL was incorporated in 2000 and dheerubhai ambani died in 2002, and now Anil Ambani & Mukesh Ambani are at loggerheads.
Constant supply of gas is vital for such power company.NTPC too is facing shortage of gas for some of it's gas based stations.
Profitability of RNRL looms under the forthcoming verdict of the court.
RNRL today @118 is trading at 293 times it's TTM earnings, this shows how expensive this stock is ,even after steep fall.
Even after this, if this stock surges to new high, reason should be attributed to punters.(like reliance industrial infrastructure which rose to 3000 and retraced to 800 levels).

RNRL today forged a late rally almost running 10 rupees in 2 hours.
From the information available in NSE site, it seems like the Open Interest build up is high in this stock.
Does this qualify this stock for further rally?
Should we use this opportunity to book profits?

You need a few fundamentally unsound ones for safe shorting on every market down leg

As for operators, Anil Ambani is the biggest one.

That's why momentum stock are called so..!
I remember a game, where players sit in a circle pass hanky hastily to next player while the music is on;when the music stops player with hanky in hand loses the game.
simple analogy, with bull run or bull phase, momentum stock skyrocket in the market when the bull run /phase is over, investors holding the fundamentalless stocks remain trapped with the stock.
