No Delivery Period Clarification Suzlon
I have purchased 20 shares of Suzlon Energy on 22Jan 08 in cash segment @338.25. My broker(Indiainfoline) has put some extra charges of Rs 642 under following details
This is to inform you that SUZLON ENERG scrip was under the No delivery period from January 21, 2008 to January 25, 2008. The amount (Rs642) reflecting in the ledger dated January 24, 2008 during this period is the Mark to Market [M2M] profit/loss that has been charged to your account comparing the average rate with the closing rate on the particular day. Could someone clarify the “No delivery period” is from Jan 21 to Jan 25 in Suzlon? While I am purchasing in cash, What is this Mark to Market [M2M] profit/loss, How it will effect me ? Should I will be responsible for this ? Any information/clarification on this is highly appreciated. What are my legal rights here in case of dishonesty of broker, who should be approached in this type of scenerio?
