@fizzler : nice one..... cheapo bull run out of steam once foreign grass ended... he he

for all those who still left with cash.... go bear strategy by short selling...

and the mojority of those who like me have all stocks in red (nearly all but diversified).... lets get back to saint's TA thread and many others..... also open the textbooks an start reading..... Technical Analysis, Fundamental Analysis, Market News..... Trying new software... whatever..... nows the time....

There are traders who trade by the tick (scalpers), others who trade with a longer time frame in mind.

You have to ascertain where you are placed in the entire spectrum. If you are not trading from a terminal, you cannot be a scalper. You have to have a longer time frame in mind.

Based on your risk tolerance, the time you can afford to spend tracking the market (depending on your job/ other commitments), you have design a plan yourself that incorporates entry points/ exits/ stop losses/ position sizing. There is no one solution that fits all....
