Default ICICI Margin Plus

Hi,

In day trading via ICICI Margin Plus, lets say I bought some shares, but the price is going down and it is about to reach my Stop-loss trigger price.

So before it hits my SLT px, can I convert that Margin Plus into a normal trade... meaning that instead of day trading, I convert that into position trading... so that I can sell when the price goes up again...

Cheers,
Shaju

Hi,

As i am new to day trading, i am still not clear...

Experts, pls help...

My requirement is..
1) Lets say I have one good stock which I know will be good to hold...
2) I want to use this stock for my day trading... if it gives profit on the day i will sell it... if it does not give me profit then i would like to purchase it and keep it...

For the above requirements, how do i do in ICICI direct trading system... Those who are familiar with ICICI direct trading platform pls guide me with the steps....

Cheers,
Shaju

Good Idea, But beware boss, You buy a stock , thinking that you will convert to delivery later that day, But due to some reason, The ICICI site or Stockmarket is down, Then you end up loosing huge as you think, anyway we going to convert to delivery only and dont have any stop loss

Yes, you can always do that. You can day trade in the MARGIN segment but you can convert into delivery if you wish, if you have sufficient funds to take delivery. You can also sell in BTST segment on the following 2 trade days if the position is profitable.

Dear Shaj,
If u want to trade with above mentioned manner.
What i will suggest you is to SHIFT from Icicidirect.
U will get number of limitations over there.

What i suggest u to join Sharekhan.
Its online facilities are also very good

Its m personal experience.
Even i was having an account with icici,
But i faced problems like u and Since then i had opted Shrekhan.
And let me tell u one thing, it is very good..

I think your all queries will get sorted out there.

there u r getting 4 times exposure,
And brokerage charges are less than that of Icici.

And if u want the intraday entity which u bought in the morning, and afterwards u want it's delivery.
It is available here.
