Default Effects of nasdaq (us economy) on Indian Stock Exchange

I was doing Historical study of nasdaq. Historically whenever there has been recession in US economy and nasdaq declines, all world exchanges have followed similar trend. Example when nasdaq went down by 80% in 2000 to 2003 world markets followed similar trend and went down by about 30-50%. BSE also declined from 6000 to 3000 levels. Now since Oct 31 2007 nasdaq has declined from 2859.12 to 2504 about 12%, is US economy moving towards recession ? or recession has already started in united states.

Most important thing how is it going to effect Indian Markets? Specially at the time where India's GDP is growing and economic conditions looks good for India.

So at the end, If nasdaq went to recession mode like 2000, how is it going to effect BSE? will RPL go 100 and reliance will see 1500 levels? what is you can think of???
