I think I posted in thw wrong section earlier.....
Hi Stock Market Experts, I am new to the Stock Markets, however my dad had invested in Unitech some 12 or 14 years ago in my Mothers name. Just recently, we recd a dividend check a few months back (prior to bonus issue) stating that my mom holds 3800 shares.. After seeing the volume, I checked the price of the share on the internet and was surprized. After the bonus issue I guess they would be around 7600 shares After my Dad's demise, we never looked at these shares and never dematerialized them, now the trouble is that the shares are in Paper format till date, my mom is a home maker and does not have a PAN number, I have applied for a PAN number today so that I can open a DEMAT account and help my MOM capitalize on these shares. I am very new to the share market and want to help my mother capitalize on the investments her husband had made for her.... Can some one really help me with the procedure on how I can go about doing this.... After I recive the PAN number (which I think will take 20 add days or more) what I am supposed to do... do open a DEMAT account and have the UNITECH shares dematerialized... Also, I am assuming all this process of PAN, Demat and Transfer of Paper shares to DEMAT will atleast take 45 days to 90 days... would UNITECH priced crash by then, is there a way to capitalize on this while the prices are UP!! Any help from the experts on this will be really appreciated...... please post your responses Thanks, I really look forward to your responses. |
