Hi rajib333,

amibroker is free to use without the ability to save data. For the feature to be enabled you have to pay for the software may be around $150.

Mohan.

yes, i agree u. it is really important.

ok, all u need is cem pib to ab software, it is free.

just make a folder named RTDATA as c/ RTDATA.
if u have pib then sync. for whole data and it is stored in
ur pib/<client code>/ data. go there and copy all data and paste in RTDATA folder, u have to do this at every evening .

now, it is ur external database for amibroker.
Now, at the starting of trading day first start amibroker , then start cem pib to ab software and use the second line
(offline transfer) and change the source as c/RTDATA.

now all previous data is loaded in amibroker, and u will get the very much required contiousnous chart pattern ,
and feed the amibroker with rt data either by cem pib to ab
software or stock tools rt datafeed. happy trading .

this way, u can bypass buying the software, if u think so, but u have to employ 10 min. daily for that. i have successfully done it. contact me if any any further assistance needed.

thank you,
Rajib.
