Free Realtime Data... With DDE

Dear Friends,
This is my first post to Traderji.com, I searched the entire form but was unable to find any support on DDE system, For those who dosent know what DDE is, DDE is a facility through which data can be sent from one program to another. I used RQT Download which gets NSE & BSE data from yahoo server and was able to export this data into a software I designed. Can anybody give me information on if NEAT or ODIN supports DDE transfer...
My ultimate goal is to design a system where everybody will be able to get realtime data free of cost to their desktop...

Gr8 hope though. let me tel u my frnd that u can find an Excel sheet (Created by Cooltetra) which pulls Data From Yahoo to Amibrker SW.

Now the matter of Fact is thatIf u hav Neat or Odin u dont hav to look around for anythng Else. because they can be easily used to Transfer Tick by Tick data to the Charting SW's. Now as u hav quite ambitius Plans to create a source of Rt data u can just Refer to that Excel sheet and hopefuly ul come thru some Idea.

I dont hav much idea of Computer programming But ican suggest that if u can create a SW which not only pulls data from yahoo BUT also NSE's SIte it can be gr8 help. Plus u can also look at the Codes from the NSe site. hope it all works.

it's very nice of you to have the desire to develo and share. i too have no idea on how it is done.

but Quote tracker program also retrieves data from NSE and uses within it. you may have a look into the process of how they have done it to get some idea of their format etc., for some more info on QT, you may refer to:

friends, i have noted that FCharts supports DDE data feed ,
on its intraday /RT section.

but, i have little idea about dde(dynamic data exchange),
I think it is possible to make an excel-sheet proj. that will take data realtime and will work as a dde server and will send data to fchart.
if we can do that ,we can get free rt data frm nse/bse/mcx/ ncdex from all of them, no need to go through yahoo.

but very sorry, i am not a software person(actually from medical line), so it is not possible for me to develop such an soft.
here i appeal to all programmers to take note of this and please try to develop such an utility, if any cost involved, we r ready to share that. we all foramites r behind u.
