Well to start with

Is there a utility or can u develop a small script file or a program to
Append records from a master file to different child files. Command line
utility. (msdos prompt)

All the files are in ASCII format and are in the same folder or directory

format of <Master.TXT> file

Format of different child files

1. sbin.TXT file

<DATE><SYMBOL><OPEN><LOW><HIGH><CLOSE><VOLUME>

2. sail.txt file

<DATE><SYMBOL><OPEN><LOW><HIGH><CLOSE><VOLUME>

From the Master.txt file each record has to be appended in different txt files.

The utility or the software should seek the name of the files which is matching the symbol field (omit the extention of the file .txt) of the master file only in the Folder or Directory specified.

It should add the record of the child file at the end of the file. If any date is duplicated it should overwrite the record in the child text file.

If there is no child file it should create a new child file with .txt as extention of the file. (ACC is in master but child file do not exists - Acc.txt file with one record should be created - in the folder name specified.

The result of running the utility is as follows

I have clearly mentioned other than any regular trading software so any kind of software regarding antivirus, audio/video players or any software you would like to request. I HAVE MADE NOTHING NEW JUST THE SOFTWARES WHICH YOU WOULD LOVE TO HAVE OR GAMES

Hi Brij, i need ur hlp. Can u get me any full version Adventure, or Simulation Game. Two important things. I dont have any 3D Fx card. Iv a P3 system and 256 Ram. So any old version of the games will also do.
My second request pls dont provide me with ********** or Megaupload kind of links. Its real difficult for me to download from these sites. Pls provide with Link for direct download thru Download Accelator plus.

Sorry Friend with out ********** and Megaupload kind of thing You can never get full Versions. Whatever you get at any other site are just trials. May be You have not installed Alexa ToolBar So Megaupload might give you a problem but whatever Rapid share doesn't give you any such problem. If you have any specific problem regarding ********** then I am ready to solve ur problem.

Hi Anil,

The problem you have mentioned about appending data from a master file to child files (creating them if necessary) can be easily done with any programming language, even the good old GWBASIC. If you know programming, you can write a small basic program to do that. Reply if you have any doubts.

Thanks for ur concern but i have Rapget which was workin fine. But now it has stopped working. Also iv nothing Against them. But i could not use accelarators which tends to slow down the Download. i recently downloaded Max payne Version 1 from an Ftp site. But now that the game is finished im lookin for something new. PLs do provide me with the links.
