Hi friends,
It seems proper and sound to me that we start a thread where the traders can post any problems that they r facing in their OS(operating systems).I can try and help in Windows problems. There are a lot of guys here who are in IT.They can also contribute here. I will try and answer over the weekends. Warm regards Amit. |

Dear Amitt,
I have Windowsxp(service pack 2) & I have a big problem with Microsoft Internet Explorer, I can open any web site but I can not download any files from any web, when I am starting downloading, it stops at 99% & hang, I am regularly clearing all temp folders ( disk clean up ), Some one suggested me that you have to format your system, But after formating there will be problem with my saved Data & Software, I have run many times the Internet explorer's setup, But downloading problem still there, Can you help me please ? Hi Prakash,
Did this problem start surfacing after sp2 was installed.If it did,u need to uninstall it.Then try it. Alternatively try reloading your OS over ur current one,may take an hour or so.U will not loose any data.And we dont format our Hard disk at the drop of a hat. And dont install sp2.Try downloading a file from web now.If it doesnt work again.Lemme know what sort of error it is giving. WinXP takes some time to respond when it freezes,u can try pressing num lock key to see if its responding or not. Let me know. Regards Amit. |
