This way i can get Historical chart in quoteTracker. i wanted to get historical chart in fcharts with current data included in the chart. The drawback in QT is that you can analyse only 6 months of historical data. I thought maybe there is someway that fcharts (or some other way where qt may be manipulated) may be used and more than 6 months of historical data may be analyzed. regards ashutosh |

Dear ashutosh I am not expert in FCharts because I use Metastock for EOD purpose. But one sure method to get EOD data into FCharts is just download EOD BHAVE from NSEINDIA http://www.nseindia.com/ (Main web page just click Equity>Market today>Bhave copy download(for current day)/Archives(for other days). On your desktop just open the download Bhave file and arrange the date columns in the following way DATE TICKER OPEN HIGH LOW CLOSE VOLUME Remaining columns you can delete. Please note that the columns stated above must be spelled correctly and in the same order.( like DATE, TICKER , OPEN etc.,) Save the file on your desktop as text (Tab delimited) format. From FCharts select import data and you find "drag and drop fiels here option" (White coloured box). Just drag the text(Tab delimited ) file from desktop and drop into the Box(FCharts).FCharts automatically converts and stores EOD Data. You can build data base (nearly 1000 scrips)by dowloading form NSEINDIA for 'n' number of dates. Regards ppvsin |

isn't Java chart (Jchart) at ichart.in a better readymade tool for EOD charts? |
