Hi folks,
thanks for the support you have shown for my worksheet BSE EOD Downlaoder.

it further inspire me to present you with the Intraday version. however one can download only the sensex data.

since i use it along with hyperserver i intentionally used the yahoo code of sensex. the main constrain of the worksheet is one cannot use it during the market hours. blame the bse'walas guys. but then great stuff to do homework.

HELP
press CNTL + SHIFT + D

data compatible with metastock. just put use of the downloader.

26.08.2006
launched the BSE Intraday Downloader for individual scripts.

10.09.2006
now 50 scripts can be downloaded at one go
the data is in ASCII Text. thus all major Charting software can access the data.

23.01.2007
one can import as many scripts as he/she wants
fixed some bugs

cheers,
jdm.

Hi JDM,
Gr8 work. I am also using Hyper Server . Is it possible to develop this utility , so that we can download other BSE securities data and/or also NSE securities data at end of day to use it as back fill (possibly at one click) ?

Thanks
Harish

hi harish,
since my intraday worksheet doesn't imports backfill intraday i really didn't take any initiative for its improvement.

anyway, yahoo group bse-nse2005 (http://in.groups.yahoo.com/group/bse-nse2005) do provide intraday data (for free) for about 100+ scripts including major indicies. the data is in meant for amibroker, but works fine in FCharts (a free version is available at www.spacejock.com) also. with some ingenuity you will be able to feed the data into metastock.

cheers,
jdm.

P.S.-
currents week intraday data in the yahoo group.
backfill from 2005 from

Hi JDM,

I was looking same kind of script as you have in your XLS sheet for different stocks example infosys. I want minute by minute data. I am ready to pay for it. Can you suggest where to get such script for individual stock minute by minute data ?

hi max,

there are many software that could do your job. try hyperserver if you are using metastock. alternatively you can use medvel quotetracker. its integrates with FCharts. and they are all free.

since you are willing to pay, you can also try Yahoo RT, made by our very own forum member Satya. the said software feeds data to many softwares, like metastock and amibroker.

hi max,
if you allow me i would suggest you to try FChars (www.spacejock.com) its a very neat charting software with all the basics and its free. perfect for beginers.

i started with FChars. so was the case with many of my forum friends.
