METASTOCK , ADVANCE GET & TRADE STATION ARE GOOD SOFTWARES BUT FOR CHARTING PURPOSE U CAN USE BEST CHARTS WHICH IS FREE AND USE YAHOO FINANCE FOR DATA .
IN MY VIEW MATTER IS NOT TO USE EXPENSIVE SOFTWARES BUT TO ANALYSE MARKET WITH EMOTIONAL BALANCE AND IN A WAY THAT IT CAN BE APPLIED IN REAL WORD OF INVESTING OR TRADING . SO KEEP IT SIMPLE .

Just checked out BEST CHARTS. I think it is a great alternative if one does not want to spend money and are just beginning in technical analysis.
Best of all the data is FREE TOO!! Good work chheda, keep it up!

there is another free software for gann analysis
http://www.gannalyst.com/Gannalyst_software_nf.asp the lite version is free.....good for beginners

If anybody is interested, there is a site called techincaltrends.com. I visited their office and thier software is very good for starters and much cheaper compared to Metastock. Can anybody tell me what exactly does Advanced Get reveal.

A rejoinder to an earlier post ... http://www.candlestrength.com is not a software to analyse Indian stocks only, it is valid for any financial instrument the world over.
