Hi guys,
We are a Chennai based company looking to release a backtesting software later this year. We aim to provide the following features: 1. Testing complex indicators & strategies. 2. Sophisticated and flexible money management / risk management. 3. Adding/subtracting from positions based on user specified criteria. 4. Our aim is flexibility. We want the user to be able to test out almost any strategy that he can think of. 5. Our testing abilities will be different from metastock etc. Our focus is more on money & risk management, position sizing etc. Our competitors may be products such as TradingBlox, Mechanica, Trading Recipes etc, which retail at over $2000 per license. We are aiming to have a free basic product + a professional edition at around $100 or so. we are planning a launch of October 1, 2006. In this regard, we would like a handful of beta testers for our product. If you are interested, email us at axsystems@*****.com. Regards |

Hi,
Our product is customized for the Indian market, but we plan to make it general enough for you to use the product to backtest your ideas across most asset classes (commodities, mutual funds - anything that has EOD data). Our product is similar to those that you mention. Our aim is to provide the same functionality at a much lower price, with a free basic edition. BloxBuilder costs $3000 and Mechanica is over $10000 to the best of our understanding. Currently, we are looking at a launch of October 1, 2006. We are being advised by a a group of professional traders for our product development, but we would like to reach out here to the community and see if anyone might be interested in being part of our beta test team. If you are interested, please email me at axsystems@*****.com. Thanks |
