I dont think there is any need to open the .xls file---Just unzip---then when u open the .xls file unquote I am using openoffice.calc to open it. When I am in this step I get msg that error loading document and this is password protected.

I m extremely sorry--for mis-interpreting u----Actually this utility is made with OfficeXP on an Windows XP platform---If ucan get access to this platform----do chk it out----In future I will see if i can make something which may be suitable with OpenOffice--in Linux platform--- I m really sorry for being unable to help u--- Dear NK, Thanks for the compliment--- Regards, joy_mitali
