Can a chart be opened from command line in any charting software ?

Hi, I write down the relevant support and resistance levels of interesting charts daily and make a list in excel. I would like to open a particular chart from with in excel by clicking on the symbol entered in excel sheet. Is there any stock charting software which can do that ? May be using commandline ( scripts ) or OLE automation ?

Yes, it can be done in Amibroker. Check out the library files in the site to look for similar kind of automation done. If you didn't get the code, search in yahoo finance group of Amibroker (remember having seen very similar code there about a year ago). If you can't find and not able to write it on your own, post your request in the yahoo group , hopefully someone (incl. Tomasz himself) could reply...
