dear friends,
i am facing a problem. i don't know how nse data for 03/05/08 got imported into fibotrader. till 02/05/08, everything seems to be ok. i have been importing data for last 06 months into fibotrader and using the software nicely. even on, 02/05/08, after importing data into it, i could use nicely. however, when i tried to use it on 03/05/08, to my utter surprise, i found all nse charts were showing data till 03/05/08. however, index charts are showing data till 02/05/08. i really don't know how to get rid of this problem. i just want to delete the data for 03/05/08. i import data into the software from here only. please suggest what to do. regards, nick

dear all iam not able to use fibotrader because i am not able to understand the concept of eod updation etc. can any body clearly explain me about how to use eod data in fiotrader software.
 i down loaded the eod data and coverted into csv format and in the import data column selected that eod file but the charts are not comming can any body help me .further i want to know how many days eod data are required to form a chart because the software shows the error that only one days data is available(i gave only i day data) if the solution is to give many days eod data then any body tell me how to do so please any body help me.

im having metastock ver 8. so shld i download fibotrader also or not im looking for realtime free software is it available?? thnx

Looking at the posts that you are sending, I'm assuming you, alongwith others, to be a senior member of this thread for Fibotrader.... Further to the same, I had a few queries, as follows: 1) I have managed to get the Fibotrader version, which allows me to connect to external data sources ( as one would get in the official version....dont ask me how I got this...I've noticed one thing...that such provision can be obtained from the trial version download also...I keep on formatting my m/c pretty often for various reasons, and this is the 2nd time - that I've got this feature enabled...  ).NOW, CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO PLUG-IN INTRADAY LIVE DATA FROM QUOTE TRACKER...(CURRENTLY, I'M GETTING THE SAME IN FCHARTS FROM QUOTE TRACKER AND WANTED TO SEE HOW EFFECTIVE WOULD FIBOTRADER BE IN GENERATING SIGNALS). HENCE PLS INFORM ME HOW TO CONFIGURE QUOTE TRACKER FOR LIVE DATA INSERT INTO FIBOTRADER...ALTERNATIVELY, IS THERE ANY WAY/ ANY PROGRAM FOR LINKING QUOTE TRACKER TO GENERATE AN ASCII FILE WHICH MAY GET APPENDED MINUTE-BY-MINUTE, WHICH I CAN CONFIGURE IN QUOTEMAN.. OR ANY OTHER WAY.... 2) How to use the FILTER feature to give me stocks / futures / options (by selecting the relevant choices) which have a NEW BUY / SELL SIGNAL or stocks which have the BUY / SELL signal already running...I WOULD PREFER THE SAME TO RUN ON BSE/NSE/FUTURES/OPTIONS (directories which i've configured in quoteman daily EOD ASCII IMPORT) I'M COMPARING THIS FEATURE WITH THE FCHARTS VERSION (OFFICIAL VERSION), WHEREIN I SCAN DAILY EOD DATA TO GIVE ME THE BUY / SELL STOCKS... Am using Fibotrad*r that was downloaded in 2005 and have had no problems so far, however, that version does not have the template for bollinger bands or MFI
If anyone is knows how to add these templates into the template file please advise. Note: have downloaded the latest version of Fibotrad*r from their web page, tried it and find the GUI most confusing, so reverted back to the 2005 version. Thanks in advance for any suggestions about adding those templates. Foon22
