Scripting question -------------------- Based on live intraday chart, I am trying to write an indicator script that will show the price surge (%) in last 30 bars (1 bar = 1 minute). The formula I want to use is: (Current_Close_Price - Close_Price_30_Min_Ago) / Close_Price_30_Min_Ago *100 How can I achieve this thru Fibotrader Scripting? I couldn't find any function to the value for Close_Price_30_Min_Ago. Please help. Thanks, TkM |

I am using beta version of fibotrader in vista.
I have imported near about 1120 symbols from ascii files to folder NSE. I get charts ok. Values in charts are ok. I tried to make a filter where volume is > 50000 for last 20 days. I slected NSE folder. After that result showed me as 1116 symbols are there, only first 500 are shown. However figure 1116 is no where near correct figure. I have listed the first 500 with volume. I am attaching a screen showing my filter and list. Here one can see even symbols with volume less than 50000. Am I doing something wrong? Second I tried to manage split for a symbol. From quoteman, tools, securities admn, I selected symbol management and searched for symbol BHEL. is shown. However when I double click, I get msg that this module doesn't support symbols from chosen data source. Is it correct? I am attaching screen for this also. |

Dear Fibotrader and Soumya,
I would like to apply a filter to buy/sell signal given by any indicator. The filter is closing price on any subsequent day is greater than the high of the day on which a buy signal has been given by a indicator. Similarly for a sell signal, the closing price on any subsequent day is lower than the low price of the day on which a sell signal has been given by a indicator. Thanks GJ |

Hi Soumya,
While trying importing the historical data - as provided by you [ http://**********.com/files/1750552/Quotes_0.7z ] I am not being able to extract it. Do I need to rename it to some other extension ? I tried with .z, .zip and .rar but no of them are working. If renaming is not necessary - which uncompressing tool shall I use ? Regards, Sabya |
