Dear Fibotrader Users,

The symbol AFTEKINFO has been changed to AFTEK. to import data from the old symbol to the new one what u have to do :-
1. complete the updation task.
2. open QuoteMan->Tools->Securities administration
3. Symbol management->Select symbol
4. in the Search phrase box write AFTEK->Start search
5. 2 click on AFTEK.
6. Quote management->Merge with quotes from other symbol->Choose
-> in the Search phrase box write AFTEKINFO->Start search
->2 click on AFTEKINFO->Start

Hello soumya,
While updating data into fibotrader, i find that the data for sensex chart and nifty charts would not update. Also the other charts are updated daily by data from BSENSE2005, except these. What should i do to update these too along with other charts.

I would once again like to thank you for helping us with such a wonderful TA software.

Hi Satish,

Change the symbol. in my database symbol of Nifty is 'S&P CNX NIFTY'
& symbol of sensex is 'SENSEX'.

How to BackUp Database, Templates .......

backup through software:
open fibotrader->click on Preferences tab(wheel sign)->Autobackup
->follow the instruction

manul backup:
open the folder in which u installed the fibotrader->backup the Data folder

which files are for which purpose
Intraday : for intraday data
Main : for internal settings(it stores drawings, filter results, alerts, lists .....)
Quotes_0 : for EoD data

Hi soumya,
i have been trying to use filters in fibotrader to search for companies which have made a new 20 day low which is lower than the previous 20 day low. I have found that we can search for companies which have made a low which is lesser than the all time low. But what i need is that the stock should make a low which is less than the 20 day low. Is it possible to search using the criteria i mentioned? If yes, could you please tell me how.

Hi Soumya,

I just installed Fibotrader. Just wanted to know whether its possible for you to collate the data from 1st Jan till today in a file and upload it. Others (till 30th May) I will download it from your first post here. Reason I am asking is the data is scattered here and there for June's month.
