Hi Soumya and Fibotrader,

Thanks for this great software and all the help you are providing.

I want to know how to do following things
1. create particular template e.g. I want check ROC of all the stocks and sort top 10 and worst 10 stocks in terms of ROC.

2. How to add filter for stocks which are going up/down more than market?

3. I do not see buy and sell signals for all the default templates, how do I configure that?

4. Suppose I want moving avg cross over template for 3 moving averages and its buy and sell signals, how shd I add it?

5. Backtesting - Suppose If I want to apply the template to particular stock/index or particular folder and backtest how it performed for say last 5 yrs with starting capital 100000.

Let me know if above questions have already been answered in this forum already.

Hi Soumya,
I have downloaded the software and the data files, however when I try to open Qoutesman ,it does not launch on the screen, it just shows an icon on the right hand bottom of the screen.
I am not able to configure the data files to Qoutesman.
I've tried downloading the software, it's of no help.
I have Win 2000 as O.S.

Please suggest.

Hi Soumya,

First of all thanks for this great thread :-)

But i am having the same problem as Money . I downloaded and installed Fibotrader as per your steps . Copied all the files as said by you . But when i launch Quoteman ,it does not launch on screen ,but it is shown in icon on bottom right of screen .
I think its not a problem of OS as I am having winXP .

Please help

Just Right click that icon and select Display

Hello! my prayer still remains unanswered !!
i am unable to download the quote_0 from rapid fire
(uploaded by mr. soumya).....any body can mail me in .rar or .zip format ....it will be really an appreciable gesture.....

Please update to the newest beta (Preferences/Update). This will fix the QuoteMan issue.

Hi Fibonator ,

Thanks for your help . I reinstall the software and then without doing anything first i updated it to beta version . Now QuoteMan is working fine . After that i added all the required files of Quote_0 and Main provided by Soumya .

Money you can also try this .
