Hi soumya,
Thanks for all help. After copying quote0, I imported the csv files in 31st_May_to_4th_August_2006.rar and I find that the charts show volume as open, high, close rate and I get huge line. I checked the format before importing and it seems to be OK. Am I missing something

hi Anjan,

u have done something wrong. at the time of eod import the column header should be looked like
<name><symbol><date><open><high><low><close><volum e>
or
<symbol><date><open><high><low><close><volume>

use Delete existing quotes(slower) option for overwrite on erroneous data.

thanks,
soumya

Hi Tarzan,

It appears that there is some error in your data. Form the chart of Infosys check the quotes for 15-9-06. Also find out what the number you got in portfolio manager refers to. Is it volume or some such thing?

soumya,
I checked again and as u said, the header appears correct. Just to cross check, I didn't include the quote_0 u had provided, but used the installation quote_0 and impoirted the data from the csv and it appears properly. It means there is a compatibility issue between the quote_0 u had provided and csv files. can u help
Anjan

Dear Fibotrader Users,

I have made a sectorwise classification assigned by Karthik (http://www.traderji.com/61651-post16.html) in Fibotrader.
Download Link : http://**********.de/files/36690695/Main.7z.html

CAUTION :-
Using this 'Main' u will lose all yours own templates, filters, watchlists & drawings.

Thanks,
Soumya

Hi! Soumya,

Have downloaded the file. It's got a ".7z" extension.
Renamed it to ".mdb" and pasted the file in the Data folder
When I run Fibotrader, I get an error message

Also tried renaming the file to ".zip" Says o archives found.

Could you please tell me what I need to do.

Thanks once again for helping us here...

Amit

hi Amit,

the 'Main' is compressed by 7z compression s/w. decompress it by winrar. then copy it to the data folder.
get Winrar from http://**********.de/files/29777087/...3.60_Final.rar

thanx,
soumya

Hi! Soumya,

Thanks for your reply.

If you refer to Post # 6 at the foll url
http://www.traderji.com/amibroker/86...se-stocks.html

we can get charts of Industry / Sector charts like "Private banks"

With the database that you have provided, can this be done. I have gone through all the folders, but could not find the same.

Hats off to Soumya! for the selfless service that you are providing.

Regards,
Amit
