The columns in the ASCII import are set correctly. The volume values relate to volume column. Yet the volume data is imported in the close column of the database. I cannot make out as to how the price data is imported. Appreciate if you can let me know how to check the column order in ASCII Import and the database are same. Else, any other way of fixing this problem.

Thanks

Thanks a lot Fibotrader. I checked the data files. The one corresponding to the chart showing age of 40 days was indeed not updated for last 40 days as the scrip is not being traded since that day due to some corporate action. The other charts are now reflecting correct age as soon as I update the data files and redraw the charts. Thanks for your clue.

One query to you. Is there any way to make the displayed chart update automatically as soon as the data file is updated? Some kind of configuration setting so that it is not mandatory to manually update the chart every time data file is updated (AmiBroker does it automatically).

We assume you are using ASCII files. If yes, then Fibotrader offers a very nice way to automatically update those. If you select the data source "ASCII data directory" you can assign an import template to the files in there and it will monitor the directory for changes and reload files as neccessary. You get real "Push-Charts" this way.

Yes, I do use ASCII files (CSV format) for updating. Thanks for the tip. But I think the 'Free Version' does not allow setting up ASCII data directory as a source of data. I tried to set it up but I got a message saying the feature is available only in registered version. Is it right?

That's correct. There needs to be some incentive to actually buy our software ;-)

I do agree that everything can not be FREE. I will experiment with the Free Version for some more time and consider going in for the Registered Version.
