Hi! Soumya,

Bad luck. It's just not working out. Am attaching the screenshots for your ref.

Now, I'm facing another problem ... I'm trying to adjust the split of Astra Micro. They had a split of 10 -> 2 & a bonus issue of 1 : 1

Both the factors are 0.5. Fibotrader is not allowing me to enter 2 splits with the same factor on the same date. I feel like kicking myself.

PLEASE HELP! Soumya

Hi..Soumya...thanx a ton for the much needed inputs on fibotrader TA software..I am trying my hand at it and if there are any hiccups I will definately request for your help

) can we download data from yahoo finance or NSE site ??

ITC : Errornrous data. on 20th sep 05 it was quoting @1929.6. check it out.
Astra Micro : on 6th Oct 05(day b4 the split) it was quoting @2544.65. on 7th Oct 05 it closed @267.25. a clear 10:1 split. to accomplish this split use
Detect splits -> Current symbol.

Hi Soumya,

I am very thankful to you for introducing Fibotrader to this forum. I have downloaded the software and the pdf files. I am installing it now. As you have provided the main file and database of BSE & NSE, I will download them also and paste them in fibo directory as per your instructions.

I just want to know whether the database you have provided contains prices adjusted for splits and bonus. As far as I know the data on bse-nse2005 group is not adjusted. If you have the same data have you adjusted the data for splits and bonus before uploading it.

Soumya . i encounter a problem when using filter in fibo . i just wanted to see stocks which are between rs 10 to 20 . As i excute filter giving condition
for last 250 days ( u gave a example ) it works but problem is when i reduced the no. of days i.e to 100 it gives stock which are more than 20 also

plz help

i think is a bug. those stocks r coming out in filter but have not met the specified criteria, i observed that those stocks have no data in the given period.

to Fibotrader,

pls remove the bug asap.

dear soumya

i thanks a lot for ur step to step guidence and answering almost every query. i have installed soforware and eod upto
31.5.06. u mentined few eod to be donloaded from rapidfire but there files are missing due to no downloads from site. will it be possible to provide link or file which has eod from 1.6.06 onwards. also is there any way by which we can our self download eod directly and update. bhavacopy are available from nse sites.

i m sorry i m asking for too much.

Could you please explain, what exact filter you are using, what symbols you are filtering and what the exact conditions are?
