I am attaching all the log files. Fibotrader could you please take a look at it.

Thanks,
Amit
Please direct questions regarding crashes and issues to support@fibotrader.com to reach the people you need. A first solution would be to install the latest beta through Preferences/Update. Does this help?

Hi Fibotrader,

Thanks for the help. I have posted the issue to fibotrader support.
Latest update also did not help.

Thanks,
Amit

Hi! Soumya,

Would be grateful if you could please revert on the following:

1) Is there an indicator / filter that tells us that a stock has just made a higher pivot high & higher pivot low on the WEEKLY charts. Have written to Fibotrader, byt they have not reverted.

2) What are the indicators / filters that you use to shortlist stocks for a trade.
I am spending far too much time looking for a Buy set up. Can you please help.

Thanks & regards,
Amit

Fibotrader would be the best person for answer that.
as far as i am concerned there is no such indicator in Fibo right now.

for long : RSI > 50 & 8-50 (EMA) buy crossover
for short : RSI < 50 & 8-50 (EMA) sell crossover

best regards,
soumya

Hi! Soumya,

Thanks for your reply. If you have made a template / filter for the buy signal (for long), can you please upload the same.

Would be grateful for the same. My eyes are popping out because of manually going through charts everyday looking for a good buy signal.

Thanks & regards,
Amit

Hi! Soumya,

Thanks a ton for uploading the template & filters.

Just some clarifications ...

In your earlier post, you had mentioned that you use 8-50 (EMA). But the settings that you have kept are :

1) For the 1st Moving Average, you have kept the settings at :
Type : Linear
Periods : 4

2) For the 2nd Moving Average, you have kept the settings at :
Type : Linear
Periods : 9

*** I thought EMA meant Exponential. So, why have you kept the setting at Linear.

Also, why is the 1st Moving Average at 4 instead of 8 and the 2nd Moving Average at 9 instead of 50.

3) You always use scaling of the chart as Linear, not Logarithmic, right?

Would be grateful if you could you please clarify my doubts.

Thanks & regards,
Amit
