Hi Soumya,

First of all my compliments for the great work done by you for people new to doing their own TA. your guide for Fibotrade is really wonderful.

I have faced very peculiar problem.

I have installed the software as guided by you in your first post and updated data you have uploaded on **********. Every thing works fine for data till 4 Aug. which you have provided.

I downloaded data for 7/8/2006 from ***** group mentioned by you on first post and imported the data through quoteman. But on all charts for 7/8/2006 open value is not correct and is very high and therefore bar for 7/8/06 is touching the top of charts. In few cases the the open value is very low therefore the bar is touching the bottom of chart.

Can you guide me where I might have gone wrong.

before importing delete <O/I> & <series> columns.

Thanks a lot.

It is working fine now. But just one more question.

I had first imported data without deleting the columns suggested by you. After I got your suggestions I removed the columns and did the process of import of data again. But it did not work.

Then I removed the quote_0 file and reloaded the whole data again. then it worked fine.

So my question was that when you import data of same date again does it not replace the old data with new one.

Fibotrader does not replace data of the same date.

When I start fibotrader I get message "Unknown Indicator HLCh@!@21" and Fibotrader hangs and have to kill the application. Everything was working fine till I made an update for candlesticks. I have reinstalled fibotrader, redownloaded main file, still to no avail. So that makes me suspect on quotes_0 file, which could be corrupt. Let me know if you have any solution on this or I will need to download all the data again, which will be quite an effort.

download this new Scripts file and overwrite it with the older one in the Fibotrader folder.

After downloading the latest update. whatever notes I put for a scrip, does not get saved.

Are you facing a similar problem???

Hi Soumya,

I don't know why you are being so rude.

The notes were getting saved in the earlier version. After the update, the notes are not getting saved and therefore I wanted to know if there is a bug in the update.

I thought you would help me with my query, instead of saying that I do not have any common sense ...
