Default Which Charting software will have:-

Hi guys,

well yesterday i tried out Fcharts but it does not allow combination of indicators and i found it very cumbersome to use. Is There a better software out there with a look closer to metatrader4?

I have heard about apistock. can some1 post a link as to where to download it?

Also some1 pls post the steps involved in downloading the data and loading it into apistock.

I am a complete newbie at stock charting software.

Also i tried doing "backfill" in Fcharts and it didn't work. If some1 can help out with that i would be grateful.

Neo

Dear Neo.
Hi.
First prepare a list of stock symbols (with out .NS & .BO) in txt or csv format & import in to FChart using import export button.(if list is not created then it will fetch all stocks from NSE/bSE but takes lot of time).
Then open fchart -> Import export -> click backfill" tab.
Fill the dates from & to. In market suffix write .ns or .bo & click download.
It takes @ 5 to 10 min depending upon the time frame of data requested.
daily EOD will be downloaded from down load tab after writing .ns or .bo for market suffix. (Do not change the URL's address).

Bye...

---Rao.
