Dear Sh P K Jha, I feel some bit auckward disturbing u from time and again as after sending the link on skydrive i did as u suggested and it started working fine but today when I start downloading BSE EOD Data I got error message as below

This application has failed to start because MSVBM60.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem

i will be highly thankfull to u if u plz help me out as Your software is sooo handy and user friendly that i can't even think of going for any other software

Download it from above site and put it in windows/system32 folder

Alternately, you can get runtime file from Microsoft website and click on the exe to install all needed files.

At least this error message will go away.

All downloads are enabled for some time.

Being little busy, development is rather slow paced.I will update as and when I release New version.

Thanks for the great software and your gesture of enabling the download for some time.

I have downloaded the same starting using it after going through your responses to various queries raised by other users in the recent times.

I could successfully download the NSE EOD stock data for 3 years (range of dates), as I was completely away from the market for about two years.

But I was trying to download the NSE EOD Bhav copy for today (single day) with the check boxes 'NSE' 'EODBhavCopy' and 'Equities' checked.

I got the window stating that "FII data updated" and the EOD Bhav copy for the day is downloaded and is in order. The 'Please wait' Hour Glass keep running perpetually.

If I click the 'OK' option of the EODDLC window reading 'FII data updated' the system HANGS with the error as below.

I am using Vista Home Premium Edition with all OS updates latest as on today.

What I could not understand is : when I wanted only Bhav copy for a day, why should 'FII data' be updated ?

You may look into and advise if I have missed something in my settings, as per your convenience.

Thanks for feedback Murthygaru. As usual, it is to the point and technical in nature.

EODDlc could be tested on Win98 and WinXp and if you remember , inorder to maintain compatibility with Win 98 , many incompatible functions have been replaced with legacy functions, very few indeed. But still important. XP can be forgiving in such situation. But Vista may not be.

Since I have not tested on Vista it would be doubtful if I can support this version for vista. I have to change the whole concept to DotNet.But that will be different version altogether.

As for FII download, as it gets data only for the period indicated in download dates window, it is only one pass to NSE . If you see there is one page for Stock information. So if you have downloaded data today then you will have some basic information available in EODDlc itself, such as 52Wk HL,Other announcement, record dates along with FII data.It is stored in database now ,so always available.

AS, I did not have the benefit of your advise, during that period, I have kept file and database options. If you feel database is ok then I can drop files.The converted files in both cases have same pattern.

Note:- MCX download is not working because of change in URl. Although I have troubleshooted it but not yet incorporated for next release.NCDEX is working.

Dear Pankaj,
Thanks for your response on compatibility with win98 vs vista. I who was advocating on win98 am now settled on vista and may be some more.

May be after all the planned features are incorporated in the current version, you may think on releasing another version with the features incompatible with vista disabled so that vista users like me may at least have the benefit of having at least a crippled version of the EOD-DLC.

In the mean time. I will check and make some requests to enhance the appeal of the current version and also will check on vista to identify the incompatible features.

I know, with your otherwise busy schedules at work, it is next to impossible to spare time to incorporate the above changes, but you may atyour own pace.

Thanks once agin for all your time in developing and supporting the application.
