EOD Download/ Convert from NSE and BSE

Dear PK ,...

I have tried to download NSE cash historical data for metastock , in sequence ,.. means bhavcopy, delivery data , indices , yeild and VIX .

But when m trying to convert them , the converter is showing missing delivery data.

Can u pl guide me through it.

Will be thankful.

Hi Darsh
Goto option>>download missing files>>Download Delivery Data for NSE.

That should download all missing delivery data files.

Further , even if you ignore message, it will include 00 as delivery data and may not affect metastock import , unless you want it badly.

Second you need to clarify also if you are using Database or Files for conversion.

ascii file is nothing but text files in english.
csv file is noting but comma delimited text file.

You can store values in variables and use print /write command with append /output in vb6 to get ascii file. It will automatically terminate file with eof if you don't want to add further data else you have to keep it open ended.

So it would be difficult to do what you ask. If reliable link is posted then may be.

Hi Pankaj, u can get international Gold prices for Free from Kitco..... they also provide free utility for this where u can get prices of all precious metals.. but in Dollar terms only......
