EOD Download/ Convert from NSE and BSE

I tried with your option of Copying from Backup , problem persists

I took prior steps as
1. as Said Regenerated Settings Ini
2. Deleted the Files in Converted 20080714.txt 20080715.txt 20080716.txt

Checked with the options in Output , everthing found normal as usual.

But the Converted file Size is of 12K and that too with Symbols alone

It is quite Normal before the updation of patch , guide me if i am worng in any stage.

Hi Sumogan

Setup file still contains ver 2.2.21 since only patch was released for 2.2.22. So you can backup your database by renaming it as eoddlc_bak.mdb and run the setup again. Then try with renaming new database as eoddlc_new.mdb and eoddcl_bak.mdb to eoddlc.mdb and run the programme.
see if you get the same error or it is rectified. That will eliminate one source of error i.e. either program or database.

Then give me feedback. I think database config values have been corrupted. or it is not properly saving.

Same advice for soundrex as problem is same.

Hi,

Thanks for your instructions on downloading the downloader.

I had been using an older version of the program and the symbols for indices were different. However, merging solved that problem.

The data for other symbols such as RELiance etc is not getting loaded into the program(i am using Amibroker). I dowloaded the EOD bhavcopy and converted then import to Ambibroker. Somehow the data does not show up.

How may I correct this?

Hi neo

In old version I used ^NSEI etc which is y a h o o type symbols.

Many members wanted ^ to be removed so I provided a method to do that and in subsequent release removed ^ from Symbols of Indices. ^ being special symbol, I check for that and don't allow since eoddlc is now using database.I am glad that this issue has been solved by you.

As for Reliance not showing up, if you could be more specific, it would be better.

If you are downloading BSE and Reliance is not showing up then We need to provide Reliance and its BSE Scrip Code for Listed Equity table.

If it is NSE then you can use update functions which updates symbols company names etc. So if any of Reliance company is not there it will be inserted. Any problem then let me know.

Also show the sample output file few lines near reliance symbols

Did you check if downloaded EOD files had Reliance symbols.

Do let me know so I can go through it.

This rectifies a mistake which inadvertantly creeped

in in ver 2.2.22

All are advised to download this patch and
feedback on any problem

Old setup file will continue with Ver 2.2.21 Those installing fresh may backup exe and copy patch.

Sorry for not replying earlier.

This option to output indices in date files will be put for nse and bse in next version if there is no further issues with 2.2.23

Hi ranjit

Coding part is over. Output file will be in yyyymmdd.csv format. It will contain indices data for the day.

I will integrate and issue in next release.
