Hi
Setup files in both Rediff link and Skydrive link contains version 2.2.21 Exe . So New installations should follow this procedure in sequence till original setup is uploaded. (I will wait for more feedback) Download Setup file and install the programme. Download DATA.zip and overwrite EODDlc.mdb and EODDlc.mdw Download Patch and overwrite Exe core with new version which is 2.2.22 pk

In ver 2.2.22 Indices are stored in database in system date format. It will not affect the downloader or the converter. You have to set DATEFORMAT in settings page. For output it is first combo on the left side of the settings page. . DATEFORMAT changes date output and can also be set from Converter page. It changes same value as in Settings page. For bse download, BSEDATEFORMAT is set on right combo box. Both are stored separately. However , I will check again as this issue could not be replicated at my end while running eoddlc. pk

Can you use converter to order the sequence of values as per metastock like symbol, date ohlcv with Metaheader to get the output in Metastock format. Files will be in converted folder. If you face problem then let me know. I am having little computer trouble so expect to help out by Sunday, if your feedback is given . pk

There is no programming involved. just open converter page and go to Advance Input/Output settings and arrange order as per your sequence. Then click convert. Your sequence will become default sequence next time onward. Files will be in Converted folder of MCX pk

I downloaded the Patch 2.2.22 and replaced the old version ,
1) Now the Convert option created only the Header and Scrip Code 2) Stockwise it had created 4 times the blank scrip code ( the no fo times I attempted to covert) Suggest me to overcome the issue and to rectify the data which got appended with blank records. Regards SuMogan |

You can do two things. 1. Go to Options>>settings and click on regenerate settings. That will take care of default settings 2. Go to converter page ans see if all files are visible in input box for the selected exchange. .If not copy files from Backup folder to Equities Folder(assuming EOD for equities) Then check again and set Input/ output settings in advanced Settings option. Once done, delete all files in Converted and Stockwise folder. After that hit click. Shortest way to do that is to use rebuild option using either file or database option that will output all data depending on files/data in database and your settings. pk
