EOD Download/ Convert from NSE and BSE

New version does download NSE. Old version will not do that since NSE has changed URL .

Dnlded the latest ver 2.2.15 and also DB files.I am enclosing the "sensex.txt" file which was generated for date 1st Jul 2008.

Hi rpc

Thanks for giving output file. It seems data is ordered by YYYYDDMM format taking it to be a string.It should have been YYYYMMDD. Minor correction is needed. Will do that and comeback with 2.2.16.

Please Download and extract exe and copy to your programme folder.

You will also need Richtextbox Controls.Otherwise you will get error that OCX was not found. Normally it is available on XP.

MDB file is added as Seperate download for those who have not run any sql update.It is named as DATA.zip. Extract to DATA folder. Although may not be needed by Any recent installations.

Version 2.2.21 addresses the issue raised by rpc which involved minor correction in code.

other than that

1. Added FII data Viewer as chart and table.
2. Added Rich Text Box to view content of Board Meetings and Company Announcements easily.

Further feedback awaited.

Looks like either it is pretty useless

to work with that users are fed up to complain or it is working so nicely

that they forget to tell.

By the way I checked up in other computer by copying exe (without reinstalling it) and it worked without showing any error messages.

hope others have no issues with it as we have with Sensex.

Still waiting for feedback.

Hi pankaj..... here is my feedbck....... yes man u are right..... in this version their is no error... not a single one......... the first thing i downloaded was BSE indices .... it get loaded smoothly.... firts time ever........... i downloaded MCx and NCDEX data .. no issues .. get smoothly as well.... i thought i get Nasdaq data also.. but come to know tht ... it is going to come in next version........ then checked FIII and DII data .... wow.. this too... and yes this version have forx graphs also.. thanks for everything Pankaj.....

some times i think wht u eat....... so much devotion to work.. Man u are genious....

Thanks Chintan. Expect NASDAQ in next Release. Meanwhile will work on some features of Database., Like exporting selected data to csv without going to conversion. Giving certain vital statistics and enabling to browse details of prices for any given date.

Urgent

New Patch Ver 2.2.22 due to change in BSE download date formats for Indices.

Earlier BSE used d-m-yyy date format and now I found that it is changed to m-d-yyyy. So made some modification.

Extract and Copy exe to programme folder. Run and Click on Options>>Settings>>General Settings and also click Regenerate Ini Values

I have added Combo to change BSE Date Format . If it is not m-d-yyy ( usually it will be d-m-yyyy in previous version) then change it to m-d-yyyy and save there itself.

Now BSE download indices will work.

Explanation:
It so happens that due to load on server they keep changing formats which will cause such autodownloaders to not to download data. Hence this provision will change dataformat whenever problem is experienced in downloading BSE Indices.
