EOD Download/ Convert from NSE and BSE

THANKS Pankaj........and regarding BSE indicies ... yes i clicked 5-6 times and it remain open for half an hour but nothing get loaded....... will install again... and revert bck

hi pankaj,
1) please provide us a detailed help file.
2)what should i do to get converted EOD file in the following sequence (both with without using database)
symbol, date, open, high,low, close,percentage of delivery,volume.

Ranjit Help File will be done subject to finding time.

You can select Input output list and move the field around in output box to desired location. (This is true for both file/DB).
Output will be in the format you set.

Make sure that your converted folder is empty else it will write records to existing files.

I have checked up the file give by you. You can take output by selecting Required fields and using metastock header. Output files will be in converted folder. Try to import and see if its successful.Give me feedback and errors if any. I will try to make it compatible to Fibotrader as well

I noticed that for BSE indices you have used 900 series. I am using 100 series.it should not make any difference though.

As per instruction given by you i have downloaded &converted but problem is that no files to convert / converted successfully msg come. Download bhavcopy have present in download folder . Pl, help

Files should be in DATA/NSE/EQUITIES/Converted Folder or DATA/BSE/EQUITIES/Converted Folder. Please check there..

Since By default it uses data base, Bhavcopy will remain in EQUITIES Folder.

Thanks for your very quick response. Ultimately i have found converted file but that is not match to FIBOTRADER. Earlier i have send sample data of fibotrader, Pl, you test with different style with the help of your converter. You will found which settings will match (converted csv file as same as sample data) . Hope you will try it for me as well as lot of fibotrader user. Please give me your reply.

If you go to Advance Output setting Button you will see there is one option to set Dateformat.It is system wide for Output. Default is yyyymmdd. Even thoug my system dateformat is M/D/YYYY I get output in yyyymmdd. There is another option to select system date format for output. Do check with them and if any problem is there then let me know.
