There is a functionality provided for converting any file which is in csv format As I have mainly concentrated on NSE and BSE this aspect and its appropriateness is not much tested. However I believe that if you point input source and your files are visible in input box and format in the windows below you can convert it. However you have to do little experimentation. And if you really want this functionality improved upon I would be glad to do so once I get your feedback after experimentation. Pankaj

Hi,
I found a problem. In NSE csv file I found two entries for some stock like.... PNB,EQ,506,515.85,495.5,511.9,514.5,506.8,362297,1 84940076.55,11-MAY-2007, PNB,IL,588,588,588,588,0,546,21400,12583200,11-MAY-2007, Now after converting.....I found two entries in the txt file.....like ICICIBANK,20070514,855.1,873.7,852,870.4,1060796, ICICIBANK,20070514,855.1,855.1,855.1,855.1,1060796 , When converting in metastock using this txt file its taking second entry...which ic wrong. How to solve this issue? BT

Current version number is 1.25.1 or 1.25.0 If you have different version, get the latest one. If what you download from briefcase is old one then I will upload the latest as patch/upgrade (containing exe only), which can be used to replace old exe. I have checked up. The current version , this issue does not come at all. Pankaj

I have now uploaded the upgrade and patch rectifying error reported by you. Version number is 1.25.2 Sample output is attached. thanks for the reply.
I am using this tool for long. I want to make it clear that I have no negetive intension. Thats why I gave my feedbacks (like duplicate entry, and u agreed that the problem was there) after updating, I found that some entries (stock) are not there. Like before AEGISCHEM,20070423,148.4,148.4,140,140.85,9245, AFL,20070423,67.55,70,66.1,67.25,16400, AFTEK,20070423,69.85,70.9,69.65,70.1,897472, NOW AEGISCHEM,20070423,148.4,148.4,140,140.85,9245, AFTEK,20070423,69.85,70.9,69.65,70.1,897472, See, AFL is missing. I compared this two file using beyond comare tool. hoping, you will understnad now. BT
