"Your Dream Breakout & Pivot Point Alerter" !!!

Well, we are all aware of the elusive Holy Grail theory, let me not ruin reality for you then. We may not know where the intra-day market is headed or where the volumes are, well not until now! The "Pivot Point Alerter 1.0" is just this. It is your "eye" to monitor hundreds of stocks in a live market scenario giving you an edge in your trading.

"Pivot Point Alerter" is a program which reads streaming NSE quotes from Power Indiabulls 4.1 and as the market progresses, it tells you which scrips are in action. Which ones have volume spikes, upward/downward breakouts and also compares the current price with calculated Pivot Points, informing you when they are in your preset range. Most of this is very tough if not impossible, were to be done manually. following are some prominent features of this utility:

-> Calculates and stores pivot points from EOD quote file downloaded from nse-india.com, ready for the next trading day.

-> Reads current prices for scrips and Alerts the user of when the price is in range of pivot point, r1, s1, r2 & s2.

-> Tells you where the action (volume) is, displaying the amount traded for a scrip, in lacs.

-> Reports breakouts in percentages using proprietory breakout algorithms.

-> Processes 100 scrips in less than 70 milliseconds.

-> Displays quantity to buy/sell when a scrip is selected as customized by you.

Installation Instructions:

Run setup to begin installation. Proceed as per on-screen instructions.
After installation completes:

Click Help -> PIB Data Folder

Here you have to SELECT THE DATA FOLDER, which mostly is "Program Files\Indiabulls\Power India Bulls\{YOUR CLIENT ID}\Data" folder.

REMEMBER the folder you select should have the name
"Data"

You may set the Pivot Points from bhavcopy files
downloaded from www.nse-india.com

To add a scrip, press the "F1" Key.

hi ....in addition to support/ resistance levels, i also keep an eye on roc indicator which is a leading indicator.it provides time to think and execute order .but keeping the track of roc manually has limitations.....can i use ur tracker to track roc diversion????? lead time provided by roc is very usefull in cross checking dailly/weekly signals of indicators.....and one can use this time for online consultation with mentor, friends,like minded traders.....incorporation of any other leading indicator will serve the purpose,, idea is to have some time to think/crosscheck/ to avoid any impulsive decision...

Adding ROC is out of scope for this utility. The main reason being that adding this indicator calculations and tracking will slow down the file read process, leading to delays in alerts. Future versions might have the ROC diversion.

Good Work.Congratulations.

We both move in the same direction.The problem is where to "buy" or "sell".

I had already tried this method. My S/w scanned 700 scrips in NSE( nearly all

scrips in NSE) ofcourse with compromise in speed.

I scanned those files which crosses resistance 2 with volume(two times

volume of prev day).I flashed a Message on PIB using API functions when a

scrip cuts its resistance.

As bharatk8 said if we can calculate RSI ROC etc then we can use bullish

divergence for buy singnal.I use RSI for market direction.
