My name is patpal2invest. I had downloaded the pivot alerter software. I had downloaded from the link you provided. I had install the software but can't update the price. I had gone to help-PIB for setting. But the problem is I can't update the price nor from PIB nor from the NSE bhav copy. Fordownloading from nse which format I select ?? One think I want to ask u that I had a data provider where i download the data in metastock data library format. Do the pivot alerter can read this format. Looking forward for your reply. I DOWNLOADED THE FILE..
AND SCANNED WITH WWW.VIRUSTOTAL.COM I GOT THE RESULT OF 25 ANTI VIRUS WITHIN 3 MINS AND ONE ANTI VIRUS SAYS RESULT: Prevx1 V2 2007.09.13 Heuristic: Suspicious Self Modifying File !!!!!! MEANS DONT DOWNLOAD THE FILE ANYWAY USE IT YOUR OWN RISK

The executable is uploaded to Yahoo Geocities. They do a virus scan before any upload and the service itself disallows uploading of any malicious programs. I'm pretty sure that you're computer is infected and using an online antivirus wont show you results in real time. I advice you buy norton or mcafee and have realtime scanning enabled. By saying that the file is infected, you're challenging the authenticity of yahoo !

You need not worry. You can try this. Take any other executable and upload it to the same site.
