Metastock or amibroker

I am new to trading. I wish charts .

where can i get metastock software OR Amibroker which one is best ?
and also inform me about data for metastock for indian stock market ?

Amibroker beats the crap out of Metastock. No competition, IMO. Metastock is outdated.

Humans are creatures of habit. No matter how shabby is Windows, we still prefer it as the preferred operating system.

Similarly, since Metstock is so easily available and we have got used to it - we are using metastock. Changing is a pain.

But frds do say that amibroker is superior , especially for the people who want to write their own codes.

Those people (non-programmer) use metastock are they really create the addon themself ?
