Dear Members,
NSE bhav copy has around 500 companies so we get data of around 500 companies in NSE bhav copy. If I want to import only selected EOD from NSE daily to my metastock daily. Is it possible to import only NIFTY stock data daily ? Thanking you. Jayesh |

1. Open the Bhavcopy in Excel. 2. Remove all the columns except SYMBOL, OPEN, HIGH, LOW, CLOSE, TOTTRDQTY & TIMESTAMP. 3. Rename SYMBOL to Ticker,TOTTRDQTY to Volume and Time Stamp to Date and save file in .xls format. 4. Open Downloader, go to tools>>Convert. 5. In the dialogue box, for source,Select file type as excel. Specify the location and name of Bhavcopy. For Destination, select File Type as Metastock and give the desired location. 6. Go to options, Change the date range as per NSE Bhav Copy date. Select Daily for periodicity. 7. Click OK and within a couple of minutes, it'll be done. Best Regards, --Ashish |
