Diet Odin 9.1.0.5

I am a commodity trader and my broker is 5paisa.com I use their diet odin software for trading. Recently they asked all traders to update using diet patch which included two patches + vc run time files. Ever since I installed them I get a login error message called Logon process did not complete. I contacted 5paisa and they asked me to do things such as disable uac, add a registry patch, disable antivirus, firewall. I tried all things they said but no luck. I also ran search in google and came across topics related to this and tried some tips but no luck. Anyone facing this problem and if yes found any solutions?

My system specs
dell latitude laptop
windows vista business with latest updates
3 gb ram
intel core 2 duo processor
80 gb hdd

i connect to the net through lan. all my internet programs except this one work fine without any problems. I also use sharekhan's trade tiger which works fine.

I am feeling hopeless for past many days as no solution. The ppl at 5paisa are also not of much help. I would appreciate if any of u can give me a solution
