Sirasangi,
I have downloaded now and will start reading. Chaos trading looks to be a new concept and different from FA n TA. If something is possible and reliable, i may introduce into ASTOSS.

Thanks for your reference.

murtymsr,

please see the following thread

http://www.traderji.com/trading-reso...ket-trend.html

It gives details of Directional Day Filter. With help of this we can identify direction of stock movement after one hour trading.

kgsirasangi,
Thanks again for the reference to DDF. I will study the same.

As my software can analyse only a snap-shot of a data or at most, compare the data at two or more discrete snap-shots and can draw some inferences, directly incorporating DDF as indicated may not be possible. There is no continuous data acquisition.

The intraday selections of ASTOSS mainly focus on the comparision of the
assessed parameters upto previous EOD data and a few (one or 2) sets of data in the first 30 minutes. There appears to be good correlation between that days closing price rise and explosive volume moment in the first 30
minutes. i.e., if the first 2 sets of data indicate a projected volume jump by more than about 3 times associated by initial gains, a good return can be
expected by end of the day. Pivot point is the other.

The Chao trading e-book downloaded by me is in RAR format, and winzip was not helpful. Can suggest the unZipping( unRARing) SW I can use for RAR files?

Thanks in advance.

Hi everybody,
Due to some personal constraints, I will not be able to post the selections of ASTOSS for a day or two.
Thanks.

murthymsr,
For unrarring .rar file, use winrar software. Download winrar from

http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-...ml?tag=lst-0-1

Hi paragbhujbal,

Thanks for the interest in ASTOSS.
This software is in developement. Most of the data acquisition is manual and for Statistical Calculations I use foxpro.

As the software is not made with the distributable version, it cannot be made available for download. My present concentration is on making ASTOSS pick-up good selections.

Thanks,
murthymsr
