Hi Joy

I ran it on two machines One with WINXP 32bit and win98SE both running office2000, without problem. If you want I will run on winXP64 bit and see if its OK.
User interface is very good and intuitive.

However what I am interested in is if you can calculate probability of each resistence and support level and project the graph on highest probability line and match it with actual figures, it might become a new indicator .

I really liked your intervention in another thread where flame war is going on, a trend not seen earlier in this forum. Appreciate it very much.

Regards
Pankaj

Hi
Link is excellent.
I notice that you have posted your explanation about pivot points there. If you post such items it would be highly appreciated by all forum members here. I have already bookmarked your link and will follow in fututre.
The CAM pivot given there is in rar format. Those who are not having a program to extract it can use 7-zip to extract the xls file. However automatic data import as provided by JOY is not available since it is an excel file with formulas only.

Pankaj

Hello Pankaj,
Thanks for ur review---

For calculating the requisit probablity----u either need the intraday data ---or the EOD data of each of the scrips-----this is what its appearing to me ---(Or can there be a alternate way!!!)---I have already been successful in isolating EOD data of each of the scrips ---along with the datas of various indicators---like MACD,ATR,Volatility,Volatility ratio,Williams%R,CHAUKINS Money Flow, etc. etc.---STOCHASTICS and RSI is creating a bit problem(which I wil resolve soon)---Thereafter I will try to implement the probablistic version---U have given a good idea---Once a post the EOD of the Diff scrips with the indicators--I would like some more suggestions from all of u---(I myself have a few of ides)
By the way---if u can find some charting Software compatible with VB and Excel--(Preferably Freeware--ha ha)--do let me know---Not much experience with charting---but willing to learn and implement seriously---
HEllo Acro,
I do not have Office 97 to test it----for the timebeing--if u can upgrade to OFFICE 2000 or Offfice XP---then it will be working as per the reviews of Pankaj---But I will also try to see if it can be made compatible with Office 97---or OFFICE 98

Hi
Thanks for encouraging words. I do not know much about indicators mentioned above but all of them seems to be functions of OHLCV may be total traded qty or delivery etc(basically volume) as learnt from various sources.

AMITBE and SAINT as indicating "Strong" or "WEAK" resistance or support for a equities. These terms essentially denote probability of breaching respective points in either directions. So, I think they can share some insight into this aspect.

As regards charting software, if you are well versed in VB then you can do it easily. If you want I can give you link to sourcecode for charting and you can debug or troubleshoot the codes yourself with visual basic 6 preferably enterprise edition. Visual Basic .NET is stated to be much versatile but I have no idea. Its express editions you can download free of cost from windows website. But is has a serious limitation in that it requires .NET Version2.0 and software will not be compatible with other versions.

I am not yet through with charting part . I will tell you more when I come to it.

Regards
Pankaj
